Employees at every level, including management, are responsible and accountable for the company’s overall safety initiatives. Management provide top-level support of safety program initiatives. Therefore CHEMTED actively strives to go beyond the highest standards to comply with Local, Regional, State, and Federal Regulations.

- Management is leading the safety, health, and environmental improvement process.
- CHEMTED believes that safety starts with proper training.
- All employees are expected and encouraged to participate in safety and health program activities including the following: reporting hazards, unsafe work practices and accidents immediately to their supervisors or a safety committee representative; wearing required personal protective equipment; and participating in and supporting safety committee activities.
- An injury and accident-free workplace is our goal. Through continuous safety and loss control, we can accomplish this.
The CHEMTED Safety Policy was developed to assure compliance with federal, state, and locale regulatory laws with emphasis on Texas Administrative Code Title 25 & 30 for Occupational health & Environmental Quality respectively.
